Floor Plan
The plan for the proposed Religious Services Center at PCI is a versatile design which allows for various activities to take place at the same time. The focal point is a large worship area accommodating up to 200 people. The focal point of the meeting room will be a mosaic stained glass window in the gable of the cathedral ceiling. Two other meeting rooms will accommodate smaller groups for study or worship. Chaplain’s offices, clerk’s office, rest rooms and storage space complete the plan. While not luxurious, the RSC will be finished internally in a way that distinguishes it from other buildings in the prison. It will be seen as “Holy Space.” |
