"Remember those in prison as if
you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you
yourselves were suffering."

How You Can Help
The Architect has estimated that the Religious Services Center will cost approximately $500,000.00 to construct. The Community Resource Council (CRC) has already lined up a significant portion of this cost from foundations and other organizations that have pledged to help. The CRC needs to raise approximately $150,000.00 from individuals and faith communities in order to begin construction. What can you do? 1) Make a donation. All donations should be made to ‘The Pender Development Fund’, which is the fund raising arm of the CRC. The Pender Development Fund is a tax exempt charity and all gifts are fully deductible from both state and federal income taxes. 2) Talk to your church, synagogue, mosque, or other house of worship about making a contribution. 3) Make an ‘in kind’ donation of building materials or equipment needed for the building. No gift is too large or too small. Together they all will make a difference in the lives of inmates for years to come. Ninety three percent of all inmates will be released from prison back into the community. The Religious Services Center is a tool to help put these men back on the right track so that they can be productive citizens when they return to society. What will your part be?
