The Community Resource Council (CRC) of the Pender Correctional Institution is attempting to build an adequate Worship Center for the inmates. The current space designated as the “Chapel” is a 20 ‘ X 24’ room and is clearly inadequate for the needs of 765 inmates. The CRC is calling on the faith communities of Southeastern North Carolina to help with this project.
