Fund Raising Progress
The effort to raise the funds necessary to construct the Religious Services Center (Chapel) at Pender Correctional Institution is progressing well. To date, we have raised $364,951.09 (85%) of the projected $430,000 needed to construct the building.
This is a big milestone, but we still need to raise the rest of the $64,048.91 to complete the building! We have the promise of approximately $40,000.00 of this in donated materials. That leaves us approximately $25,000.00 short of completing the building.
We are ready to begin construction as soon as the weather permits, hopefully by the first week in March, if it quits raining!
